- Develop and maintain APQP processes to ensure product quality meets industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential quality issues throughout the product development process.
- Conduct risk assessments and create control plans to mitigate potential quality risks.
- Review and approve product designs, specifications, and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry regulations.
- Lead and participate in quality audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address product quality issues.
- Monitor and analyze product quality data to identify trends and recommend improvement initiatives.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding quality issues and resolutions.
- Train and mentor team members on APQP processes and procedures.
- Stay current on industry advancements and best practices related to quality engineering and APQP.
- Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain quality standards for purchased components.
- Participate in new product launches and provide quality support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to quality and APQP.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality systems and processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to quality engineering and APQP activities.
Extensive Knowledge And Experience With Advanced Product Quality Planning (Apqp) Methodology And Tools.
Strong Understanding Of Quality Control Processes And Techniques, Including Statistical Process Control And Root Cause Analysis.
Ability To Interpret Engineering Drawings And Specifications, And Conduct Product And Process Audits.
Proficient In Using Quality Management Systems And Software, Such As Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, And Iso Standards.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
