  1. Lead and manage sustainable materials engineering projects, including research, development, and implementation of new materials and processes.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize areas for improvement in sustainability within our automotive technology.
  3. Conduct thorough research and analysis of current materials and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and suppliers to source sustainable materials and technologies.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in sustainable materials engineering, and integrate them into our processes and products.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies related to sustainability.
  7. Communicate and present technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior management.
  8. Train and mentor junior engineers and team members to promote a culture of sustainability and continuous improvement.
  9. Participate in the development of the company's sustainability strategy and goals, and contribute ideas for new initiatives.
  10. Act as a subject matter expert on sustainable materials and provide guidance and support to other departments as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Materials Science, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Sustainable Materials Development, Preferably In The Automotive Industry.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Sustainable Materials And Their Applications, Including Experience With Materials Certification Processes.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Implement Sustainable Solutions.

  • Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Lead Cross-Functional Teams And Drive Sustainable Materials Initiatives.
