Job Description

Identify harmful environmental or hazardous waste/byproducts, and ensure safe handling and disposal, work to eliminate or reduce the generation of such wastes/byproducts. Applies principles of chemistry, physics, and material behavior science to develop material and processing specifications. Interprets data and reports results to support research and development, environmental reporting, process improvement projects. Research and study the structures and chemical properties of various chemicals and materials with unique properties. Plan, conduct or coordinate relatively straight forward engineering analyses and tests, and prepare related reports and summaries, for review. Participate in the investigation of technical problems and Analyze product failure data and results in order to determine root causes of problems and develop solutions. Interprets data to assess trends and interactions, summarizing results and recommending further investigation.
