Job Description

If so, then we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Cardiac Rehab Specialist at Legacy Health.As a Cardiac Rehab Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized and comprehensive care to patients recovering from heart-related conditions. Your expertise and guidance will be essential in helping patients regain their strength, endurance, and independence after a cardiac event. In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or a related field, as well as a certification in Cardiac Rehabilitation.   1. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from cardiac events.
  2. Monitor and assess patients' progress throughout their rehabilitation journey.
  3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  4. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' cardiac health and risk factors.
  5. Educate patients and their families on cardiac anatomy and physiology, exercise prescription, and risk factor management.
  6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  7. Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in cardiac rehabilitation.
  8. Assist in the development and implementation of new programs and services for cardiac patients.
  9. Provide guidance and support to patients as they regain strength, endurance, and independence.
  10. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  11. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  12. Attend and participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve the quality of care provided to patients.
  14. Demonstrate a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
  15. Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Or A Related Field.

  • Certification As A Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist Through The American Association Of Cardiovascular And Pulmonary Rehabilitation (Aacvpr).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working In A Cardiac Rehabilitation Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Exercise Prescription And Monitoring For Patients With Various Cardiac Conditions.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Healthcare Professionals, And Other Team Members.
