  1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab, including angiography, fluoroscopy, and X-ray imaging.
  2. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures, following all safety protocols and infection control measures.
  3. Prepare and set up imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and maintenance.
  4. Review patient medical history and verify physician orders to ensure appropriate procedures are being performed.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns or questions.
  6. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures performed, patient information, and equipment maintenance.
  8. Adhere to all hospital and department policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  9. Continuously monitor and assess patient status during procedures, reporting any changes or concerns to the physician.
  10. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on advancements in technology and procedures.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, restocking supplies as needed.
  12. Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed.
  13. Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions.
  14. Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and customer service.
  15. Other duties as assigned by supervisor or department leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Radiology Technologist (Crt) Or Registered Radiologic Technologist (Rt) With A Specialty In Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Catheterization Lab Setting, With A Strong Understanding Of Cardiac Anatomy And Physiology.

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In Operating And Troubleshooting All Equipment And Imaging Systems Used In Cardiac Catheterization Procedures.

  • Ability To Assist In The Preparation And Administration Of Contrast Media And Medications, While Adhering To Strict Safety Protocols.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Team Of Healthcare Professionals And Patients.
