Job Description

We are looking for an Emergency Services Technician to join the team at Legacy Health. The Emergency Services Technician will provide exceptional care to our patients and their families in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for an individual with strong communication and problem-solving skills who is dedicated to delivering the highest quality care. To be successful in this role, you must be able to multitask and make quick decisions in stressful situations.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: a high school diploma or equivalent; current certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and/or Paramedic; proficiency in basic life support techniques; and a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to emergency medical situations and provide exceptional care to patients and their families.
  2. Utilize strong communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Administer basic life support techniques and other medical treatments as necessary.
  4. Operate medical equipment and monitor patient vital signs.
  5. Maintain patient confidentiality.
  6. Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times.
  7. Follow safety protocols and protocols set by the organization.
  8. Maintain all required certifications and licensures.
  9. Communicate effectively with medical teams, patients, and their families.
  10. Document patient care and treatments in accordance with medical records protocols.
