  1. Provide compassionate and skilled medical assistance to patients at Woodburn Health Center.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of A Certified Medical Assistant Program: Legacy Health Requires Applicants To Have Completed A Certified Medical Assistant Program, Which Includes Coursework And Practical Experience In Both Clinical And Administrative Duties.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Procedures: A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Procedures Is Essential For A Medical Assistant At Woodburn Health Center. This Includes Knowledge Of Common Illnesses, Treatments, And Medications.

  • Experience With Electronic Health Records (Ehrs): Legacy Health Utilizes Electronic Health Records For Patient Records And Scheduling. Experience With Ehrs Is Preferred To Ensure Smooth And Accurate Documentation.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Medical Assistant, You Will Be Interacting With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. It Is Important To Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Provide Quality Care And Build Rapport With Patients.

  • Ability To Multitask And Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Woodburn Health Center Is A Busy Healthcare Facility, And The Medical Assistant Will Be Expected To Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously. The Ability To Prioritize And Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment Is Crucial For Success In This Role.
