  1. Provide exceptional care to patients by utilizing advanced physical therapy techniques and methods.
  2. Work with a diverse patient population to develop individualized treatment plans.
  3. Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions and progress throughout their therapy.
  4. Utilize evidence-based practices to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to educate them about their condition and treatment plan.
  7. Monitor and document patients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  8. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the practice of physical therapy.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  10. Continuously develop and enhance clinical skills through ongoing education and training.
  11. Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centered care and providing a positive patient experience.
  12. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  13. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times.
  14. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
  15. Act as a liaison between patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

Job Qualifications
  • A Doctor Of Physical Therapy (Dpt) Degree From An Accredited Program: To Be Considered For A Physical Therapist - Acute Care Position At Legacy Health, Candidates Must Possess A Dpt Degree From An Accredited Program. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Received Comprehensive Training And Education In The Field Of Physical Therapy.

  • State Licensure: All Physical Therapists Practicing At Legacy Health Must Hold A Current And Valid License To Practice In The State Of Oregon. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Met The Necessary Standards And Requirements Set By The State For Practicing Physical Therapy.

  • Acute Care Experience: Previous Experience Working In An Acute Care Setting Is Highly Desired For This Position. A Candidate With Acute Care Experience Will Be Better Equipped To Handle The Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment Of A Hospital Setting.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Effective Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For A Physical Therapist - Acute Care To Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals, Educate Patients And Their Families, And Provide Compassionate Care.

  • Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practices: Legacy Health Values Evidence-Based Practices And Seeks Candidates Who Have A Strong Understanding Of The Latest Research And Techniques In The Field Of Physical Therapy. This Ensures That Patients Receive The Most Effective And Cutting-Edge Treatments.
