Job Description

At Legacy Health, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Prevention Health Educator to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and evaluate health education programs in order to prevent or reduce health risks and improve the overall health of our community. As a Prevention Health Educator, you will serve as a resource to our patients, their families, and the public at large, providing education and support to promote healthy lifestyles.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, Public Health, or a related field, and at least three years of experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating health education programs. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to providing quality health education to the community. Additionally, you will need to be able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Responsibilities: -Develop, implement, and evaluate health education programs -Provide education and support to promote healthy lifestyles -Serve as a resource to patients, their families, and the public -Maintain and update health education programs -Utilize data to monitor and assess program effectiveness -Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other departments to ensure successful program implementation -Provide technical assistance and training to healthcare providers and community members -Conduct outreach activities to promote health education programs and services -Write reports and proposals to document program activities and outcomes
