  1. Negotiate and manage contracts with payor partners to ensure optimal reimbursement for services provided by Legacy Health.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with payor partners to facilitate successful contract negotiations.
  3. Conduct thorough analysis of payor contracts to identify areas for improvement and negotiate favorable terms.
  4. Collaborate with internal departments such as finance, legal, and operations to ensure alignment with payor contracts.
  5. Monitor and track contract performance, identifying any issues and working to resolve them in a timely manner.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in payor policies to inform contract negotiations.
  7. Analyze and interpret complex payor contracts and effectively communicate key information to relevant stakeholders.
  8. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of payor reimbursement methodologies and regulations.
  9. Provide guidance and support to junior payor contracting analysts to ensure consistency and accuracy in contract management.
  10. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes related to payor contracting.
  11. Collaborate with revenue cycle management teams to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.
  12. Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to payor contracting.
  13. Represent Legacy Health in meetings and negotiations with payor partners.
  14. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline payor contracting operations.
  15. Adhere to Legacy Health's mission, values, and code of conduct in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Contract Negotiation: A Senior Payor Contracting Analyst Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Negotiating Contracts With Various Payors, Including Commercial Insurance Companies, Medicare, And Medicaid.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Healthcare Reimbursement Methodologies: This Role Requires A Thorough Understanding Of Healthcare Reimbursement Methodologies, Such As Fee-For-Service, Value-Based Payments, And Bundled Payments. The Candidate Should Also Be Familiar With Industry Trends And Changes In Reimbursement Policies.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: As A Senior Payor Contracting Analyst, The Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Evaluate Contract Performance, Identify Trends, And Make Data-Driven Recommendations For Contract Negotiations.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: This Role Involves Collaborating With Various Internal And External Stakeholders, Including Payors, Providers, And Senior Leadership. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Convey Complex Information And Build Relationships.
