- Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity audits to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within our technology systems.
- Review and assess existing security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security strategies and protocols.
- Monitor and analyze network activity and security logs to detect and respond to potential security threats.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure proper implementation and maintenance of security controls.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in our systems.
- Assist in the development of training materials and conduct security awareness training for employees.
- Create and maintain documentation of audit findings and recommendations for remediation.
- Participate in incident response and forensic investigations as needed.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on the status of cybersecurity efforts.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.
- Act as a liaison between the cybersecurity team and other departments within the company.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information at all times.
Knowledge Of Cybersecurity Principles: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Cybersecurity Principles And Best Practices, Including Network Security, Data Protection, And Risk Assessment.
Familiarity With Technology: The Intern Should Have A Basic Understanding Of Various Technologies And Tools Used In The Field Of Cybersecurity, Such As Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, And Vulnerability Scanners.
Analytical Skills: The Intern Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Be Able To Identify And Assess Potential Risks And Vulnerabilities In Liberty Mutual's Systems And Processes.
Communication Skills: The Intern Should Have Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, To Effectively Communicate Findings And Recommendations To The Audit Team And Other Stakeholders.
