  1. Lead and mentor a team of data scientists to develop and implement innovative solutions and insights for Liberty Mutual's investment strategies.
  2. Utilize data analytics and advanced statistical techniques to inform investment decision-making and drive business growth.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to enhance investment strategies.
  4. Develop and maintain a robust data infrastructure to support data-driven decision-making.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data science and investments, and implement new techniques and tools as needed.
  6. Lead the development and implementation of advanced data modeling and predictive analytics to support investment strategies.
  7. Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadership on investment opportunities and risks based on data analysis.
  8. Oversee the creation and maintenance of data dashboards and reports to track investment performance and identify areas for improvement.
  9. Manage budget and resources for the data science team.
  10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of data-driven strategies across the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Financial Data Analysis And Modeling. This Includes Proficiency In Statistical Analysis, Programming Languages Such As Python And R, And Data Visualization Tools.

  • Strong Understanding Of Investments And Financial Markets, Including Experience In Developing Investment Strategies And Evaluating Portfolio Performance. This Includes Knowledge Of Various Asset Classes, Risk Management Techniques, And Investment Strategies Such As Factor-Based Investing And Alternative Investments.

  • Proven Experience In Leadership And Management, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Motivate A Team Of Data Scientists And Analysts. This Includes Strong Communication Skills, Strategic Thinking, And The Ability To Make Data-Driven Decisions.

  • In-Depth Understanding Of Insurance Industry, Including Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Financial Reporting Standards. This Includes Experience In Working With Actuarial Teams And Understanding Of Insurance Products And Pricing.

  • Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Finance, Statistics, Economics, Or Data Science. This Includes Relevant Certifications Such As Cfa, Frm, Or Cfp, As Well As Continuous Learning And Staying Up-To-Date With Industry Trends And Developments.
