  1. Investigate and evaluate property damage claims in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Communicate with customers and provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.
  3. Determine coverage and liability for each claim based on policy language and applicable laws.
  4. Utilize technology and resources to accurately assess damages and determine appropriate settlement amounts.
  5. Manage a high volume of claims while maintaining attention to detail and ensuring accuracy.
  6. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless and efficient claims handling.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in policies and procedures.
  8. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all claim activities and decisions.
  9. Negotiate settlements with customers and third-party vendors in accordance with company guidelines.
  10. Provide support and guidance to less experienced team members as needed.
  11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  12. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  13. Act as a brand ambassador for Liberty Mutual Insurance, representing the company with professionalism and integrity.
  14. Attend trainings and participate in ongoing development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  15. Remain empathetic and understanding towards customers who may be experiencing difficult situations due to property damage.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree In A Related Field Such As Business, Insurance, Or Finance.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Handling Property Claims, Preferably In A Catastrophe Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Insurance Policies, Coverage, And Claims Handling Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills To Effectively Communicate With Policyholders, Contractors, And Other Parties Involved In The Claims Process.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment, With Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills To Handle A Large Volume Of Claims During A Catastrophe Event.
