Legal Office Manager

Recruits, interviews and hires all non-exempt employees. May provide assistance in the recruiting of attorneys, paralegals, and law clerks. Conducts performance appraisals; identifies performance problems and coaches employees to achieve maximum improvement; prepares salary increase recommendations in accordance with corporate guidelines and department budgets. Assures all staff members are properly trained. Ensures that all positions are adequately understudied/cross trained. Audits the quality of work product. Monitors, analyzes, and delegates work by reassigning workloads when necessary to accommodate business needs. Maintains flexibility by shifting priorities, whenever necessary. Review, analyze, assist and manage the implementation of change as it relates to workflow, projects and staffing. Proactively recommends and leads the implementation of process improvement within assigned offices.
