
Dietary Aide

- Assist in the preparation and delivery of meals for patients and residents.
- Ensure that all meals are prepared and served according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including proper use and storage of kitchen equipment and supplies.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to prevent foodborne illnesses.
- Communicate effectively with patients, residents, and staff to ensure their dietary needs are met.
- Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of our patients and residents.
- Monitor food and supply inventory and report any shortages or discrepancies.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to patient and resident requests and concerns in a timely and compassionate manner.
- Assist in the dining room during meal times, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for patients and residents.
- Adhere to all dietary and health regulations and policies set by LifeBridge Health.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on dietary procedures and protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and resident information.
- Continuously strive to improve the quality of care and services provided to patients and residents.
- Complete other duties and tasks as assigned by the Dietary Manager or supervisor.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Dietary Aide At Lifebridge Health Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent.
Previous Experience In A Healthcare Or Food Service Setting: Candidates With Prior Experience Working In A Healthcare Or Food Service Setting Will Have An Advantage As They Will Be Familiar With The Industry's Standards And Protocols.
Knowledge Of Dietary And Nutritional Guidelines: A Strong Understanding Of Dietary And Nutritional Guidelines Is Crucial For A Dietary Aide At Lifebridge Health To Ensure That Patients' Dietary Needs Are Met.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Dietary Aide, You Will Be Interacting With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals On A Daily Basis. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Building Rapport And Providing Quality Patient Care.
