2. Collaborate with IT managers to develop and monitor departmental budgets, ensuring that all expenses are within budget and identifying areas for cost savings.
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the IT department, including invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
4. Process and reconcile vendor invoices and payments in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
5. Assist with the procurement process for IT equipment and services, including obtaining quotes, negotiating prices, and managing contracts.
6. Communicate regularly with IT staff to gather and analyze financial data and provide updates on budget status.
7. Conduct regular audits of IT expenses to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
8. Support the IT team in creating and implementing strategies to optimize financial performance and increase efficiency.
9. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion and professionalism.
