Patient Companion

As a Patient Companion, you will provide attentive and respectful support to patients during their stay in our hospital. You will be a source of comfort and reassurance and help ensure patients have an optimal experience.Qualifications for this role include a high school diploma or equivalent and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a medical setting is preferred, but not required. Responsibilities:

1. Provide attentive and respectful support to patients.
2. Ensure patients have an optimal experience.
3. Establish and maintain a friendly and professional relationship with patients and their families.
4. Remain organized and reliable in all interactions with patients.
5. Communicate effectively with hospital staff and other healthcare professionals.
6. Assist with basic patient needs, such as providing food and beverages, helping patients move around, and providing emotional support.
7. Monitor patient safety and comfort.
8. Assist with patient discharge procedures.
9. Adhere to hospital regulations and policies.
