Job Description

We’re looking for a Call Center Scheduler, Access Point at LifePoint Health who’s ready to join our team and make a difference. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with a passion for customer service and an eye for detail. If you have the qualifications and experience we’re looking for, we’d love to hear from you.The Call Center Scheduler, Access Point will be responsible for managing patient appointment scheduling, taking and responding to phone calls and messages, and providing excellent customer service. You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of people and be an integral part of our patient-friendly approach.To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in a customer service or call center environment. You should also have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to remain professional in all situations. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage patient appointment scheduling.
  2. Take and respond to phone calls and messages.
  3. Provide excellent customer service.
  4. Work with a diverse team of people.
  5. Remain professional in all situations.
  6. Develop and maintain knowledge of medical terminology.
  7. Utilize scheduling software.
  8. Maintain accurate records of patient appointments.
  9. Remain up-to-date on new regulations and policies.
  10. Troubleshoot any scheduling issues that arise.
