
CT Technologist - Swain - PRN

- Perform high-quality CT scans in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the scanning process.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all CT equipment and technology, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of scans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and standards, including proper radiation protection measures.
- Continuously monitor and assess image quality to ensure accurate and reliable results.

Certified In Radiography: A Ct Technologist Must Be Certified In Radiography By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Order To Work At Lifepoint Health. This Certification Ensures That The Technologist Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Operate Ct Equipment And Produce High-Quality Images.
Experience With Ct Scanners: Candidates For This Position Should Have Experience Working With Ct Scanners, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting. This Experience Will Demonstrate The Candidate's Ability To Operate And Troubleshoot Equipment, As Well As Their Familiarity With Imaging Protocols.
Knowledge Of Anatomy And Physiology: A Strong Understanding Of Anatomy And Physiology Is Essential For A Ct Technologist. This Knowledge Allows The Technologist To Accurately Position Patients And Adjust Imaging Parameters To Produce The Best Possible Images.
Attention To Detail: Ct Imaging Requires A High Level Of Precision And Attention To Detail. A Qualified Candidate For This Position Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify And Correct Any Technical Issues That May Arise During An Imaging Procedure.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Member Of The Healthcare Team, A Ct Technologist Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. This Includes Explaining Procedures, Answering Questions, And Relaying Important Information About The Patient's Condition To The Appropriate Parties.
