  1. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of Cerner's healthcare information technology system.
  2. Develop and implement IT strategies and plans that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  3. Manage and lead a team of IT professionals, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to identify and address IT needs and provide technical support and guidance.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in healthcare technology to ensure the organization remains competitive and efficient.
  6. Develop and monitor IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and efficient use of resources.
  7. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and security protocols related to healthcare IT systems.

  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors to ensure timely and effective delivery of IT services.
  10. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify and implement technology solutions that improve patient care and outcomes.
  11. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  12. Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity.
  13. Communicate regularly with executive leadership to provide updates on IT initiatives, challenges, and opportunities.
  14. Participate in meetings, conferences, and other events to represent the organization and stay informed of industry developments.
  15. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the IT department.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Systems, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare It, Preferably With Cerner Systems.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Cerner Emr Systems, Including Implementation, Maintenance, And Troubleshooting.

  • Proven Leadership And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Manage A Team And Multiple Projects Simultaneously.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders, Including Clinical Staff, It Professionals, And Vendors.
