Job Description

Acts as resource for Patient Access personal. Assist employees and arranges for the efficient operation of Registration, PBX, and Scheduling, adjusting staff as needed to maintain department efficiency. Assist personal with daily activities as needed, insure Customer Service is delivered by all Staff as a priority. Helps in the planning and conducting of staff meetings for Patient Access. Assists Patient Access Supervisor with the selection of new hire. Insure each new Staff member completes departmental orientation including - Codes, Disaster Policies, Dress codes, HMS training etc. and insures employees receive proper training and knows how to use the Language Line.Help with or complete Monthly Employee Work Schedule and post 7 days prior to the beginning of that working month. Reviews hospital admissions to ensure accurate financial and demographic data have been obtained and accurately entered into hospital system.

Job Qualifications

  • Three to five years registration experience

  • 1 to 2 years in a supervisory position

  • A working knowledge of all positions within the Department.
