  1. Deliver and transport medical equipment and supplies to patients in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all delivery orders and paperwork.
  3. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service while interacting with patients and their families.
  4. Follow established delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery to patients.
  5. Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle to ensure safe and reliable transportation of equipment and supplies.
  6. Communicate and coordinate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth delivery operations.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while handling and transporting medical equipment.
  8. Provide assistance to patients in setting up and using equipment as needed.
  9. Document and report any delivery or equipment issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  10. Demonstrate compassion and empathy towards patients and their families, understanding the importance of the equipment being delivered.
  11. Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
  12. Maintain a thorough understanding of all medical equipment being transported and its proper use and handling.
  13. Continuously strive to improve delivery processes and provide suggestions for efficiency and effectiveness.
  14. Attend training and development sessions to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
  15. Adhere to company values and represent the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License And Clean Driving Record: A Delivery Driver For Lincare Holdings Must Have A Valid Driver's License And A Clean Driving Record To Operate Company Vehicles And Ensure The Safe Transport Of Medical Equipment.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Equipment: This Position Requires A Strong Understanding Of Medical Equipment And The Ability To Safely Handle, Transport, And Set Up Various Types Of Equipment At Patient's Homes.

  • Physical Ability: Delivery Drivers Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Lift And Maneuver Heavy Medical Equipment, As Well As Navigate Stairs And Other Obstacles While Making Deliveries.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Delivery Drivers Must Have Excellent Customer Service Skills And Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Patients And Their Families While Delivering And Setting Up Equipment In Their Homes.

  • Time Management And Organizational Skills: The Role Of A Delivery Driver At Lincare Holdings Requires Strong Time Management And Organizational Skills To Ensure Timely And Accurate Deliveries To Patients And Coordination With Other Team Members.
