Job Description

Leads research, design, architecture and implementation of enterprise services on AWS platform utilizing IaaS / PaaS solutions – e.g. EC2, ECS, EKS, ELB, RDS, R53, S3, Lambda, API Gateway. Leads research, design, architecture and implementation of enterprise services on Docker platform utilizing orchestration technologies such as Swarm or Kubernetes. Leads Docker Swarm initiatives and partners with development teams to build pipelines and onboard new apps to the platform. Builds Infrastructure-as-Code solutions to adhere to DevOps best practices and sets standards around them, using tools such as CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform. Performs site reliability engineering duties to build durable HA solutions and ensure proper instrumentation in place to improve monitoring, alerting and observability of platforms. Develops and implements DevOps platforms (e.g. GitLab, Puppet Enterprise, Atlassian, Ansible, Jenkins, XebiaLabs) supporting infrastructure and development partners across IT.

Job Qualifications

  • 5 - 7+ Years’ experience in system design/architecture

  • Proven experience designing, building and automating VPC solutions across all networking components

  • Proven experience building monitoring solutions for business-critical apps

  • Proven design / implementation experience: Docker CE and EE Swarm (Kubernetes)
