GL Accounting Manager

As our GL Accounting Manager, you will be a key member of the Linksys accounting team, managing the GL and overseeing the month-end close process. To excel in this role, you should have a strong accounting background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail. We are looking for a professional with a passion for accounting who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is excited to take ownership of our GL accounting operations.The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role. A CPA and/or public accounting background is preferred. Working knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is essential, and experience with accounting systems such as SAP or Oracle is a plus. You should also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the GL and oversee the month-end close process.
2. Ensure compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
3. Monitor and analyze financial statements and other accounting documents.
4. Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting documents.
5. Develop and implement internal controls, procedures, and policies to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information.
6. Manage audit processes with external auditors.
7. Liaise with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial information.
8. Provide leadership and guidance to accounting staff.
9. Develop and maintain internal and external relationships.
10. Identify and resolve accounting issues and discrepancies.
