Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
Lead and mentor a team of SDET engineers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design effective testing strategies.
Design and implement automated test frameworks and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing.
Conduct thorough testing, including positive and negative scenarios, to identify and report defects and issues.
Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, including recommendations for improvements.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in testing and automation to continuously improve our processes and tools.
Work closely with developers to identify and troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and testability.
Collaborate with product owners and project managers to prioritize and plan testing activities based on project timelines and deadlines.
Identify and escalate risks and issues in a timely manner, and propose solutions to address them.
Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance the overall testing process.
Act as a subject matter expert in Selenium automation, providing guidance and support to team members.
Represent the testing team in meetings and discussions with stakeholders, providing updates and insights on testing progress and results.
Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing among team members.

Job Qualifications

Strong Experience In Selenium Automation Testing: A Lead Sdet At Loandepot Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Hands-On Experience In Selenium Automation Testing. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Selenium Tools And Frameworks, Including Selenium Webdriver, Selenium Grid, And Testng.
Proficiency In Coding Languages: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Proficient In Coding Languages Such As Java, Python, Or C#, As These Are Commonly Used In Selenium Automation Testing. They Should Also Have Experience In Object-Oriented Programming And Be Able To Write Efficient, Maintainable, And Scalable Code.
Experience In Building And Maintaining Automation Frameworks: A Lead Sdet Should Have Experience In Building And Maintaining Automation Frameworks From Scratch. They Should Be Able To Design And Implement A Robust, Scalable, And Maintainable Framework That Can Be Used By The Entire Qa Team.
Knowledge Of Software Development Lifecycle: The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Software Development Lifecycle (Sdlc) And Be Able To Work Closely With The Development Team To Ensure That Testing Is Integrated Into The Development Process. They Should Also Be Familiar With Agile Methodologies And Be Able To Adapt To Changing Requirements.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Lead Sdet, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Sdets And Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams. Therefore, They Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Effectively Lead And Motivate Their Team. They Should Also Have Experience In Mentoring And Training Junior Team Members.
