Job Description

Logan Health is looking for an experienced, certified MRI Technologist to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent patient care and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The MRI Technologist will be responsible for creating diagnostic images of patient anatomy using MRI equipment. A successful candidate must have both the technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and other members of the medical staff. The requirements for this position include: • Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field • Certification in MRI from an accredited program• At least one year of experience in MRI• Excellent communication and customer service skills• Ability to perform under pressure and handle multiple tasks• Strong problem-solving skills • Proficiency in operating MRI machinery and related software programs • Knowledge of MRI safety protocols • Ability to work independently and as part of a team If you are an experienced MRI Technologist who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and have the qualifications listed above, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Operate MRI machinery and related software programs to create diagnostic images of patient anatomy.
  2. Follow MRI safety protocols and adhere to all regulations to ensure patient safety.
  3. Maintain patient records, including patient history and test results.
  4. Educate patients on MRI procedure and answer any questions they may have.
  5. Assist radiologists, physicians, and other medical staff with patient examinations and procedures.
  6. Troubleshoot any technical issues with MRI equipment.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  8. Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated and functioning.
  9. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  10. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude.
