
Pharmacist - Outpatient Retail Pharmacy
Logan Health is looking for an experienced and dedicated Pharmacist to join our Outpatient Retail Pharmacy team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and customer-oriented professional to provide quality pharmacy services and medication advice to our patients. The ideal candidate for this position will have a Pharm.D. degree from an accredited school of pharmacy, and be licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Montana. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, an understanding of retail pharmacy operations, and a commitment to providing patient-centered care. They will also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We are looking for a passionate and organized Pharmacist to join our team and provide exceptional service to our patients. Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescribed medications and provide counsel to patients on medication usage, side-effects, and other related health topics in accordance with state and federal laws.
- Develop and implement patient medication plans to ensure successful outcomes.
- Monitor patient profiles for potential drug interactions, allergies, and other contraindications.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain all necessary pharmacy records and documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with advances in pharmacy practice and changes in regulations.
- Participate in promotional activities for pharmacy services.
- Provide customer service and address customer inquiries and complaints.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Oversee the work of pharmacy technicians and other staff.
Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or Doctor Of Pharmacy Degree
Current Licensure As A Pharmacist In The State Of Montana
Knowledge Of And Experience With Drug Safety And Therapeutic Efficacy
Knowledge Of The Montana Medicaid Formulary And Reimbursement Policies
Ability To Accurately Interpret Patient Medical Histories And Medication Prescriptions
Ability To Work Collaboratively With Healthcare Professionals And Pharmacy Technicians To Ensure Accurate Dispensing Of Medications
