
RN - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Logan Health is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Our NICU provides the highest quality of care to families of premature and critically ill newborns. The ideal candidate will possess a caring attitude, knowledge of neonatal nursing, and a passion for providing exceptional care to families in need.To be considered for this position, applicants must have an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Montana and at least two years of experience in a neonatal care setting. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centered care, as well as a willingness to embrace the challenges that come with working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality care to premature and critically ill newborns and their families.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medication as needed.
- Educate families on newborn care techniques and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate care plans are developed and implemented.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document patient care services.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as needed.
- Provide emotional support to families during difficult times.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Follow all hospital policies and procedures.
Current Registered Nurse Licensure In Montana
Current Basic Life Support Certification
Previous Experience In A Level Ii Or Higher Nicu
Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification
Knowledge Of Neonatal Nursing Standards
Knowledge Of Emr Systems And Data Charting
Ability To Work As Part Of A Team
