Logan Health is looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our RN Residency program. As a dedicated member of the Logan Health team, you will help provide exemplary care to our patients while developing your professional skills and knowledge. We are looking for an RN who has strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to compassionate patient care.To be successful in this role, you must possess a valid state RN license as well as a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred, and a current BLS certification is also required. Responsibilities:
- Provide exemplary patient care while following Logan Health's protocols and procedures.
- Assess patient medical histories and current health needs.
- Monitor patient vitals and administer medications as prescribed.
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results.
- Develop patient care plans and treatment options.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient care and progress.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow up with patients to ensure their needs are being met.
- Remain current on nursing practices, procedures, and technologies.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide support and guidance to junior nursing staff.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new nursing staff.
- Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained.
