As the Cluster Category Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our gaming products by developing and implementing category strategies, managing partnerships, and identifying new market opportunities. We are looking for a passionate and driven individual who has a strong understanding of the gaming industry and a proven track record in category management.   1. Develop and implement strategic plans for Logitech's gaming categories in order to drive growth and profitability.
  2. Manage relationships with key partners and vendors in the gaming industry to ensure successful collaboration and execution of category strategies.
  3. Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation within the gaming industry.
  4. Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment and execution of category strategies.
  6. Manage the overall financial performance of the gaming categories, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to support the success of the gaming categories.
  8. Stay updated on the latest developments and advancements in the gaming industry in order to anticipate and adapt to changing market trends and consumer needs.
  9. Provide leadership and guidance to a team of category managers, ensuring their professional development and success.
  10. Act as a brand ambassador for Logitech by representing the company and its values in the gaming industry.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of The Gaming Industry: The Ideal Candidate Should Have An In-Depth Understanding Of The Gaming Industry, Including Market Trends, Consumer Behavior, And Emerging Technologies. This Knowledge Will Help Them Effectively Manage The Gaming Categories And Make Strategic Decisions To Drive Growth.

  • Experience In Category Management: The Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Category Management, Preferably In The Gaming Industry. This Experience Will Demonstrate Their Ability To Develop And Execute Successful Category Strategies, Drive Sales, And Manage Vendor Relationships.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Cluster Category Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Analyzing Sales Data, Market Trends, And Competitor Strategies To Identify Opportunities For Growth. They Should Have Strong Analytical Skills To Interpret Data And Make Data-Driven Decisions. Additionally, They Should Be Able To Identify And Solve Complex Problems That May Arise Within The Gaming Categories.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Sales, Marketing, And Product Development. They Should Also Have Strong Negotiation Skills To Manage Vendor Relationships And Negotiate Favorable Terms And Conditions For The Company.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Or Related Field: A Bachelor's Degree In Business, Marketing, Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For A Cluster Category Manager Position. This Educational Background Will Provide The Candidate With The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Excel In This Role. An Mba Or Other Advanced Degree May Be Preferred For Higher-Level Positions.
