- Manage and coordinate staffing needs for various departments within the healthcare facility.
- Develop and maintain an efficient and effective staffing schedule to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
- Collaborate with department managers to understand their staffing requirements and make necessary adjustments to the schedule.
- Monitor and track staff attendance and punctuality, addressing any issues that may arise.
- Identify and anticipate staffing shortages and proactively find solutions to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Recruit, interview, and hire new staff members as needed.
- Conduct onboarding and training for new staff members.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of staff schedules, availability, and time-off requests.
- Communicate with staff regarding any changes to their schedule or job responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations related to staffing and scheduling.
- Handle any staffing-related conflicts or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and track staffing budget and expenses.
- Collaborate with HR and payroll departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of staff payments.
- Continuously evaluate and improve staffing processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Act as a liaison between staff and management, addressing any concerns or suggestions related to staffing.
- Participate in meetings and trainings related to staffing, as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all staffing-related matters.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in staffing and make recommendations for improvement.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the overall mission and goals of the healthcare facility.
- Embrace and promote the mission and values of Loma Linda University in all interactions.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Staffing, Recruitment, Or Human Resources.
Strong Knowledge Of State And Federal Employment Laws And Regulations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Diverse Groups Of Individuals.
Demonstrated Experience In Developing And Implementing Staffing Strategies And Plans.
