
Occupational Therapy Technician
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Technician to join the Lovelace Health System team. Responsibilities of an Occupational Therapy Technician:
- Assist certified Occupational Therapists in providing comprehensive care to patients.
- Provide direct care to patients, including completing assessments and helping to develop treatment plans.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to best practices as set by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for the patient.
- Lift, position, and transport patients as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Stay up to date on best practices and Occupational Therapy principles, practices, and procedures.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment
High School Diploma Or Ged
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Cota) Or Certified Occupational Therapy Technician (Cot) Certification
- Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Or Occupational Therapy Setting
Knowledge Of Anatomy And Physiology
Ability To Lift Up To Pounds
