Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Technician to join the Lovelace Health System team. The ideal candidate should possess a passion for helping others, display a strong sense of compassion, and have a genuine desire to make a difference in people's lives. Responsibilities of an Occupational Therapy Technician:

  1. Assist certified Occupational Therapists in providing comprehensive care to patients.
  2. Provide direct care to patients, including completing assessments and helping to develop treatment plans.
  3. Follow safety protocols and adhere to best practices as set by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for the patient.
  5. Lift, position, and transport patients as needed.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  7. Maintain patient confidentiality.
  8. Stay up to date on best practices and Occupational Therapy principles, practices, and procedures.
