Staff Pharmacist

This role requires a PharmD degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy and a valid New Mexico Pharmacist License. Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred. Responsibilities:

1. Provide excellent patient care in accordance with the New Mexico Pharmacy Board regulations.
2. Maintain updated knowledge of pharmaceuticals and current pharmacy trends.
3. Perform medication therapy management services, such as medication reviews, drug use evaluations, and patient counseling.
4. Participate in drug utilization reviews and medication reconciliation processes.
5. Prepare and dispense medications, including sterile preparations.
6. Manage medication stock and ensure accurate and timely medication order processing.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
8. Provide leadership and guidance to pharmacy technicians and other staff members.
9. Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
10. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
