Volunteer Coordinator

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive volunteer recruitment plan that meets current and anticipated staffing needs.
2. Manage the process of volunteer onboarding and training, ensuring that all volunteers are properly trained and knowledgeable about the organization.
3. Maintain and update volunteer records, ensure the integrity and accuracy of data.
4. Create and lead volunteer orientations and other volunteer education events.
5. Monitor volunteer performance and provide feedback to ensure a positive experience.
6. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to volunteer activities.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations and other potential sources of volunteers.
8. Develop volunteer recognition programs and activities to recognize and thank volunteers for their service.
9. Maintain a safe and secure environment for volunteers and staff.
10. Perform other duties as required.
