Endpoint and IS Security Specialist

Lowes Foods is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Endpoint and IS Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Information Security team, the Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the security of our network, system, and endpoints. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in network and endpoint security technologies to maintain security policies, monitor security events, and implement new security tools and processes.The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in endpoint and IS security with a passion for problem solving and innovation. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a knack for staying current with the latest security technologies and best practices.Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field- At least 5 years of experience in network and/or endpoint security- Experience with security tools such as firewalls, application whitelisting, malware protection, etc.- Knowledge of security principles and best practices- Experience with scripting and/or programming- Excellent communication and organizational skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

3. Leverage expertise in network and endpoint security technologies to identify and remediate security issues.

6. Work independently and as part of a team on various security projects.
7. Develop and document security policies, standards, and guidelines.
8. Configure and troubleshoot security software, hardware, and networking components.
9. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
10. Develop and maintain security incident response plans.
