Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and hardworking Grocery Stocker to join our team at Lowes Foods! We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is detail-oriented and has a positive, can-do attitude. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and a strong commitment to helping our team succeed. The Grocery Stocker will be responsible for stocking shelves with merchandise, rotating products, and ensuring all shelves are well-stocked and orderly. As a Grocery Stocker, you will also be responsible for unloading and stocking incoming merchandise onto shelves and organizing backroom areas.The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:• Previous experience as a Grocery Stocker or in a similar role• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team• Excellent organizational and communication skills• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.• Working knowledge of stockrooms and store operations• High School diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities:

  1. Stock shelves with merchandise according to store guidelines.
  2. Rotate products, ensuring freshness.
  3. Unload and stock incoming merchandise onto shelves.
  4. Organize backroom areas.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized stockroom.
  6. Provide excellent customer service.
  7. Assist with any other tasks as needed.
  8. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
  9. Assist in training and mentoring new team members.
  10. Monitor stock levels and report any discrepancies.
