Manager, Asset Protection

Macy’s is seeking an experienced Manager, Asset Protection to join our team. This role will be responsible for protecting the assets of the company, which includes safeguarding both physical and digital assets. We are looking for an individual with a strong background in security and a passion for helping to create a safe environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as an eye for detail and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. criminal justice, security, etc.) or equivalent experience• 5+ years of experience in a security or asset protection role• Working knowledge of security systems and procedures• Proficient in the use of computers and software programs including Microsoft Office• Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor in all situations

Responsibilities: • Establish and enforce security protocols and standards to protect Macy’s physical and digital assets. • Monitor and investigate security incidents and suspicious activity. • Implement and maintain automated security systems. • Maintain accurate records of security incidents and investigations. • Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and other security organizations. • Work with other departments to ensure compliance with security standards and protocols. • Create and implement security training programs for all employees. • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and adjust as needed. • Investigate and respond to customer complaints related to security. • Stay up to date with emerging security trends and technologies.
