Job Description

At Madewell, we are seeking a highly motivated Development Engineer - Merchandising, Planning, and Allocation Systems to join our team. This role requires someone who is passionate about technology, has a strong aptitude for problem solving, and has a desire to work in a creative environment.As a Development Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Madewell’s merchandising, planning, and allocation systems. You will be the go-to person for all technical related issues and will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of new solutions and processes to improve the efficiency of the systems.To be successful in this role, you should have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field as well as at least three years of experience in software development and programming. You must also be able to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and have excellent problem-solving skills.If you are excited to join an innovative team and work on challenging projects, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities: -Develop and maintain Madewell’s merchandising, planning, and allocation systems -Lead the development and implementation of new solutions and processes to improve the efficiency of the systems -Be the go-to person for all technical related issues -Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders -Utilize problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues -Keep up to date with latest technologies and trends in the industry -Produce high quality code according to best practices and standards
