  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and outlets.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, and develop solutions to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  3. Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and fixtures in accordance with safety and building codes.
  4. Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance and repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
  5. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and address them in a timely manner.
  6. Respond to emergency calls and perform repairs as needed.
  7. Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs, including parts used and time spent, to maintain accurate documentation.
  8. Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance.
  9. Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement energy-saving initiatives.
  10. Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
  11. Train and mentor junior electricians, providing guidance and support as needed.
  12. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  13. Assist with special projects and renovations as needed.
  14. Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing Mainehealth to patients and visitors.
  15. Continuously strive for excellence in all electrical work and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • A Valid Electrician License From The State Of Maine.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience Working As An Electrician In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Electrical Codes And Safety Regulations In Healthcare Facilities.

  • Ability To Read And Interpret Blueprints, Diagrams, And Technical Specifications.

  • Strong Troubleshooting Skills And The Ability To Work Independently Or As Part Of A Team.
