Lactation Consultant

Mainehealth is looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable Lactation Consultant to join our team. Our Lactation Consultant will be responsible for providing education, support, and guidance to mothers and families throughout the breast-feeding experience.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, or related field• Current Registered Nursing license in the State of Maine• International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification• Previous experience working with mothers, infants, and families• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently• Knowledge of current breast-feeding guidelines and practicesIf you are passionate about helping new mothers and families succeed in their breast-feeding journey, we look forward to hearing from you!
