  7. Conduct thorough and accurate patient assessments, including physical exams, medical histories, and diagnostic tests.
  8. Prescribe and administer medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.
  9. Educate patients on women's health topics, including preventive care, family planning, and menopause.
  10. Stay up-to-date on current trends, research, and best practices in women's health to provide the most effective care possible.
  11. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation of patient care.
  12. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
  13. Act as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
  14. Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.
  15. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with patients, colleagues, and the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Current, Unrestricted License As A Nurse Practitioner In The State Of Maine.

  • Master's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Program.

  • Certification As A Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (Whnp) From A Recognized National Nursing Organization.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Primary Care Or Women's Health Setting.

  • Strong Clinical Knowledge And Expertise In Women's Health Issues, Including Gynecological And Reproductive Health, Menopause Management, And Prenatal And Postpartum Care.
