- Diagnose and treat patients with gynecologic cancers using evidence-based practices and protocols.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to determine the best course of treatment.
- Develop personalized treatment plans for each patient and monitor their progress.
- Perform surgeries and other medical procedures as necessary to treat gynecologic cancers.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, radiologists, and oncologists, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in gynecologic oncology and incorporate new treatments and techniques into practice.
- Provide support and guidance to patients and their families throughout the treatment process.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records for each patient.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care.
- Participate in medical conferences and educational activities to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
- Contribute to research and clinical trials related to gynecologic cancers.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with hospital administration to improve processes and procedures related to gynecologic oncology care.
- Mentor and train residents and medical students in gynecologic oncology.

Medical Degree: A Physician - Gynecologic Oncologist Must Have A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.
Board Certification: Candidates Must Be Board Certified In Obstetrics And Gynecology, As Well As Gynecologic Oncology By The American Board Of Obstetrics And Gynecology.
Residency And Fellowship Training: A Minimum Of Four Years Of Residency Training In Obstetrics And Gynecology, As Well As An Additional Three Years Of Fellowship Training In Gynecologic Oncology, Is Required.
State Licensure: Candidates Must Hold A Valid Medical License In The State Of Maine, Or Be Eligible To Obtain One.
Experience: Candidates Must Have Significant Experience In The Diagnosis And Treatment Of Gynecologic Cancers, Including Surgery, Chemotherapy, And Other Treatment Modalities. Previous Experience In A Similar Role Is Preferred.
