  1. Perform ultrasound examinations on patients using advanced equipment and techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  2. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, including proper positioning and communication.
  3. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to obtain and review patient histories and discuss exam findings.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including images and exam notes.
  5. Monitor and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any malfunctions or necessary repairs.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote infection control and safety.
  7. Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques through ongoing training and education.
  8. Provide excellent customer service and compassionate care to all patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  9. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  10. Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments and procedures.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental processes.
  13. Follow all safety protocols and standards to minimize risk and ensure a safe working environment.
  14. Maintain inventory of supplies and notify appropriate personnel when reordering is necessary.

Job Qualifications
  • Associates Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Ardms Certification In Ultrasound.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Facility.

  • Knowledge Of Anatomy, Physiology, And Medical Terminology Related To Ultrasound Procedures And Equipment.

  • Ability To Operate And Troubleshoot Ultrasound Equipment, As Well As Maintain Patient Records And Uphold Patient Confidentiality.
