As a Garment Technologist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all garments meet these standards.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Textile Science or related field, and at least 3 years of experience in garment technology or related fields. You will have experience working with different fabrics and garment construction, the ability to understand and interpret design specifications, and an eye for detail. You must have excellent organizational and communication skills, and be capable of working to tight deadlines. Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that all garments meet quality standards set by Marc Jacobs.
  2. Interpret design specifications and understand garment construction.
  3. Work with different fabrics, trims, and accessories.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of garments.
  5. Manage and prioritize tight deadlines.
  6. Communicate effectively with design teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  7. Monitor the quality of finished products and identify areas for improvement.
  8. Ensure compliance with relevant safety and environmental regulations.
  9. Develop new fabrics, trims, and accessories.
  10. Provide technical advice and guidance to design teams.
