Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all aspects of the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and cash application.
  2. Monitor and maintain customer accounts to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments.
  3. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer inquiries and disputes in a timely and professional manner.
  5. Create and maintain financial reports and records related to accounts receivable.
  6. Analyze financial data and identify areas for process improvement to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  7. Proactively monitor and identify potential delinquent accounts and take appropriate action.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant accounting regulations.
  9. Participate in month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  10. Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests related to accounts receivable as needed.
  11. Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounts receivable management.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial operations role.
  3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  7. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  10. Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
  11. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
