- Lead the development of new products and processes from ideation to commercialization, ensuring alignment with Mars' mission and values.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, and quality assurance to ensure successful implementation of new products.
- Conduct extensive research and analysis to identify market trends, consumer needs, and technological advancements to drive innovation in product and process development.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
- Utilize technical expertise and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during product development.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate the potential success and impact of new products and processes.
- Develop and implement testing protocols to ensure product safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and cross-functional team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in product and process development, and incorporate them into Mars' practices and strategies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Mars' sustainability goals by developing and implementing sustainable processes and materials in product development.
Bachelor’s Degree In Engineering Or Related Field
Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Product And Process Development, Preferably In The Food Or Consumer Goods Industry
Strong Understanding Of Project Management Principles And Experience Leading Cross-Functional Teams
Knowledge Of Quality Control And Assurance Processes, Including Haccp And Fda Regulations
Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Implement Innovative Solutions For Product And Process Improvement.
