- Lead the development and implementation of the sourcing strategy for Mars Incorporated, including identifying cost savings opportunities and supplier optimization initiatives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery for the organization
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, and develop contingency plans to ensure continuity of supply
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and anticipate business needs, and develop sourcing solutions to support these needs
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify potential new suppliers and trends in the industry
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the organization
- Monitor and track supplier performance, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Drive continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives through ongoing evaluation of sourcing processes and strategies
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sourcing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance
- Mentor and develop junior sourcing team members, promoting a culture of learning and growth within the department.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Strategic Sourcing Or Procurement, Preferably In A Consumer Goods Industry.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Negotiating Complex Contracts And Supplier Relationships.
Strong Analytical And Financial Skills, With The Ability To Develop And Execute Cost-Saving Strategies.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Drive Results In A Fast-Paced, Dynamic Environment.
