We are currently looking for an experienced APAC Windows Platform Administrator to join our dynamic and growing IT team. As a Windows Platform Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our Windows platform within the APAC region.   1. Manage and maintain the Windows platform for Marsh & McLennan Companies in the APAC region.
  2. Ensure the smooth operation and availability of the Windows platform, including diagnosing and resolving any issues that may arise.
  3. Collaborate with other IT teams to implement new applications and updates on the Windows platform.
  4. Monitor system performance and proactively identify and address potential issues.
  5. Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery tests to ensure data integrity and availability.
  6. Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Windows technology to make recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Windows platform, including hardware, software, and networking.
  9. Provide support and guidance to end-users on the Windows platform, including training and troubleshooting.
  10. Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures for the Windows platform.
  11. Work closely with other IT teams to plan and implement system upgrades and migrations.
  12. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and maintenance.
  13. Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure consistency and standardization across all regions.
  14. Continuously monitor and report on system performance and utilization.
  15. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and recommendations for the Windows platform.

Job Qualifications

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Windows Server Operating Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Windows Server Operating Systems, Including Installation, Configuration, And Troubleshooting.

  • Experience With Active Directory And Group Policy: The Candidate Should Have Experience Managing And Maintaining Active Directory And Group Policy In A Complex Enterprise Environment.

  • Proficiency In Virtualization Technologies: Experience With Virtualization Technologies Such As Vmware, Hyper-V, Or Citrix Is Essential For Managing And Maintaining Virtualized Windows Server Environments.

  • Strong Understanding Of Networking Concepts: A Thorough Understanding Of Networking Concepts, Including Tcp/Ip, Dns, And Dhcp, Is Necessary For Troubleshooting Server And Network Issues.

  • Familiarity With It Security Best Practices: The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of It Security Best Practices And Be Able To Implement And Maintain Security Measures To Protect Windows Servers From Potential Threats. Knowledge Of Compliance Standards And Regulations, Such As Hipaa And Pci, Is Also Desirable.
