SQL Server Database Administrator

This individual should possess an extensive knowledge of database management, systems optimization, and troubleshooting, in addition to a thorough understanding of the SQL Server platform. The ideal candidate is a team player who is able to work independently, is highly organized, and is capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.We require that applicants have a minimum of 3 years of experience in database administration and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the SQL Server platform, as well as experience designing and developing databases and creating stored procedures.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage, maintain, and administer databases on the SQL Server platform.
2. Develop complex database models and structures, and create stored procedures.
3. Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
4. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve database issues.
5. Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure systems and databases are functioning properly.
6. Develop and maintain documentation for database systems and processes.
7. Participate in the development of new applications and systems.
8. Develop and implement security measures for the organization's databases.
9. Provide technical expertise and support to users in the areas of database management, systems optimization, and troubleshooting.
10. Stay up to date with the latest trends in database technology.
