Underwriter - Flood Insurance

Responsibilities:

1. Assess the risk associated with flood insurance policies and make decisions based on actuarial principles.
2. Analyze and interpret insurance regulations to ensure compliance.
3. Utilize problem-solving and decision-making skills to efficiently and accurately underwrite policies.
4. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all underwriting activities.
5. Stay abreast of industry trends to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
6. Provide comprehensive customer service by responding promptly and effectively to customer questions and concerns.
7. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
8. Prepare reports and other documents as required.
9. Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry trends.
